Participant in the meetings of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, Sudan wins in all technical committees

Sudan won the membership of the technical committees of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization by direct election and is the only country among the participating countries that enjoys the membership of all technical committees in the meetings of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization No. 26 held at its headquarters in Rabat – Morocco – from 1-2 July this year.
The Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority and head of the participating Sudan delegation, Mr. Ibrahim Adlan, explained in the meetings that Sudan emerged as a competing force in the elections and won the membership of all the technical committees, namely the Air Transport Committee, the Air Navigation Committee, the Air Safety Committee and the Environment Committee.
Noting that the meetings of the General Assembly discussed various topics regarding these technical committees, as the Air Transport Committee deliberated on liberalizing the atmosphere and discussing the nine freedoms of transport, with a focus on the seventh freedom of transporting goods and their families, organizing bilateral and multiple agreements in the field of air transport between countries, as well as unifying health procedures and introducing a system vps vaccination card in addition to certificates of recovery from corona disease
As for the Aviation Security Committee, Sudan presented working papers on the concept of aviation security. In the Air Safety Committee, discussions were held about the validity of aircraft and the training and qualification of workers in the field of safety. The Environment Committee addressed environmental risks and threats in aircraft emissions and the danger of birds on aircraft.
He also added that there are other axes that were discussed during the meetings, including the organization’s general strategic plan for the year 2020-2021 and the formation of a statistical database.
And discussing the Air Navigation Report for the year 2019 as well as the financial affairs
And the settlement of the final accounts for the three years 2019-2020-2021, and among the axes is the discussion of working papers for the training plan for air transport for the year 2020-2021.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Ibrahim Adlan met with heads of delegations from the UAE, Yemen, Egypt and Qatar to discuss ways of cooperation in all fields of aviation and exchange

At the conclusion of the meeting, Lebanon was determined to host the next meeting.
